The HE2 for Double Bass is a complete high-end active system which gives a natural tone and response, with minimum feedback and noise. As with all HE2 pick-ups, all-discrete, Class 'A' components provide clarity whilst FET phases generate warmth. Headway piezo-cable pick-ups fit into a slot routed under the bridge feet, pressured by Maple plugs, and made to measure to touch the instrument top. The 360-degree pick-up ensures good response between plucking and bowing. HE2s require professional installation, and we are happy to arrange this for you for £100 (incl VAT) with our new Double Bass pick-up Fitting Service.
